Job description

A highly successful Asbestos Removal company with a leading presence in the South East of England are now seeking to take on an Asbestos Supervisor. The successful candidate will be managing and supervising licenced and non-licenced projects across Healthcare, Social Housing, Commercial, and Public Sector sites. You will also be working closely with the internal contracts managers and clients to ensure work is carried out in line with agreed timelines and client requirements.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Harlow, Cheshunt, Maldon, Chelmsford, Basildon, Southend-on-Sea, Saffron Walden, Bishop’s Stortford, Gravesend, Dartford, Rainham, Orpington, Gillingham, Croydon, Maidstone.

Experience & Qualifications

• Working for a reputable company within the Asbestos industry working as an Asbestos Supervisor.
• Holding the ARCA Supervisor Certificate and other relevant up to date tickets is beneficial to the role.
• Well versed in relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
• Able to communicate efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills.

The Role

• Supervising and managing licenced and non-licenced removal projects.
• Overseeing a team of operatives, ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
• Ensuring work is carried out in line with site specific RAMS, ensuring to amend where required.
• Undertaking and passing HSE audits.
• Ensuring work on site is carried out in line with agreed timelines.
• Working closely with internal contracts managers.
• Liaising with clients, providing excellent technical support and advice when required.
