Job description

Here is an opportunity for a competent, versatile and committed Asbestos Site Analyst based in and around the Stockport area to join a prominent and highly successful asbestos consultancy and will include applications from Altrincham, Stretford, Hyde, Macclesfield and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience:

The applicant must have attained the P403/P404 or the equivalent – RSPH qualification and at the same time must prior significant and varied experience working within this role and within the asbestos field.

Must be fully conversant with the Health & Safety procedures pertaining to asbestos.

Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Must be competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Role Will Entail:

Carrying out smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual, 4 stage clearances, re-occupation and personal air testing.

Monitoring the contractors on site and ensuring that they carry out the work in accordance with the Asbestos Health and Safety legislation.

Collating and producing accurate asbestos reports.

Liaising with clients on a regular basis – building a good rapport.

Dealing with any issues effectively and appropriately.

Overall, the successful candidate will be flexible and reliable and have the ability to multi-task and at the same time carry out the work effectively and within time line.
