Our client is a UKAS accredited consultancy with a large presence across the UK, providing numerous professional services to clients across the UK.

Due to rapid business growth, they are seeking an ambitious, commercially focused Asbestos Sales Manager to serve the East Midlands and Yorkshire (including Derbyshire, Leicestershire, South Yorkshire, and surrounding areas).

Ideal candidates will have a strong sales, account, asbestos technical, management, business development background, and be fully conversant with the asbestos industry. A good formal education is required, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong communication, organisational, presentational, leadership, and client‑facing skills are essential.

Key responsibilities:

  • Cross‑sell the company’s asbestos consultancy services while managing existing clients
  • Identify and pursue new business leads – researching
  • Network, contact clients, and build rapport
  • Prepare quotations, proposals and monitor Key Performance Indicators
  • Oversee sales staff to ensure effective execution of work
  • Attend meetings and deliver presentations as required
  • Liaise with potential customers/clients and inform them of the company’s services
  • Provide feedback to senior staff members
  • Develop new sales strategies
  • Meet targets and goals
  • Stay up to date with current legislation

Additional expectations:

  • Be prepared to travel extensively
  • Hold relevant asbestos certifications (e.g., P401/P402/P403/P404, S301 CCP)
