Job description

Job Title: Asbestos Removal Supervisor.
Location: Maidstone, Kent.
Salary / Benefits £180 – £200 Day rate + Benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for an Asbestos Removal Supervisor to join an industry leading and forward-thinking Asbestos Removals Company based in the South East. You will hold an up-to-date asbestos supervisor ticket and will be experienced in overseeing and managing licenced and non-licenced projects. You will also be responsible for ensuring work carried out on Social Housing, Educational, and Government sites is carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Tonbridge, Chatham, Gillingham, Gravesend, Dartford, Canterbury, Croydon, Epsom, Crawley, Haslemere, Horsham, Bracknell, Woking, Guildford.

Experience & Qualifications

• Will hold an in-date asbestos supervisor ticket.
• Experience working as a supervisor and ] for an established Asbestos Removal Company.
• Well versed in relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
• Able to supervise and manage people fairly and effectively.
• Excellent communication skills via phone, email, face to face.
• Excellent time management skills.

The Role

• Working on Social Housing, Educational, and Government sites.
• Efficiently overseeing and managing licenced and non-licenced removal projects.
• Managing a team of operatives.
• Ensuring work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
• Working in line with site specific RAMS, ensuring to amend where required.
• Submitting ASB5s and HSE notices.
• Carrying out induction and training with new starters.
• Carrying out appraisals and training with existing staff.
• Undertaking and passing HSE audits.
• Working closely with clients, providing support and technical advice when required.
• Ensuring that work is completed in line with agreed timeframes.
• Working closely with internal managers.
