Asbestos Quality Manager

Location: Sunderland, Tyne and Wear.

Salary / Benefits: £30k – £45k + Training + Benefits

A specialist Asbestos Management company, now seeking to recruit a business minded Asbestos Quality Manager to join their friendly North East team. You will be managing various Commercial and Industrial sites, managing the surveying and analytical systems alongside carrying out audits on site ensuring to maintain the companies UKAS accreditation.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Newcastle, South Shields, Whitley Bay, Ashington, Consett, Gateshead, Washington, Bishop Auckland, Durham, Redcar, Stockton – on -Tees, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Northallerton, Thirsk, Leeds, Harrogate, York, Selby.

Experience & Qualifications

• Holding P402, P403, P404 (or W504) is essential to the role.
• Working for a UKAS accredited asbestos company would be beneficial.
• Will hold the CoCA.
• Will have previous experience in Quality Management.
• Must be able to prioritise workload accordingly.
• Well versed in relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
• Will be IT literate and will have excellent communication skills.

The Role

• Managing the company's surveying and analytical quality systems.
• Undertaking audits on site.
• Attending site meetings in line with client / company needs.
• Providing clients with technical advice / support, dealing with queries efficiently.
• Maintaining the company's UKAS accreditation, complying with documents and procedures.
• Continuing to build professional relationships with clients.
• Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety legislations.
