Job summary

An independent Asbestos Consultancy is seeking an Asbestos Quality Checker to ensure reports are processed efficiently. The successful candidate will have experience in quality checking asbestos reports, strong IT skills, and will hold the BOHS P402 qualification. Responsibilities

• Completing thorough quality checking of asbestos surveys before sending onto clients.
• Receiving reports from asbestos surveyors.
• Making edits to reports where needed.
• Ensuring reports are compliant with scopes as well as industry guidelines.

They are seeking a knowledgeable Asbestos Quality Checker to join their administrative team and ensure that reports are processed efficiently and arrive to clients within deadlines. The role will require commuting, so applicants will ideally need to be based around: Basildon, Stanford‑le‑Hope, Canvey Island, Southend‑on‑Sea, South Benfleet, Wickford, Rayleigh, Hockley, Billericay, Chelmsford, Maldon, Romford, Hornchurch, Dagenham, Rainham, Barking Ilfod, Chigwell, Epping, Grays, Tilbury, Erith, Bexleyheath, Dartford, Gravesend.

Experience / Qualifications

• Must have experience undertaking quality checking of asbestos survey reports for a UKAS accredited outfit
• Will be qualified with the BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent)
• Can demonstrate strong technical knowledge
• Excellent written and IT skills
• Organised attitude
• Able to work to KPIs and SLAs
• We are also interested in anyone with p401/p402/p403/p404/p404 or s301 CCP.

The Role

• Completing thorough quality checking of asbestos surveys before sending onto clients
• Receiving reports from asbestos surveyors
• Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met and / or exceeded
• Making edits to reports where needed
• Ensuring reports are compliant with scopes as well as industry guidelines
• Updating company databases
• Issuing reports to clients in a timely manner
• General administrative support to a team of site staff as well as members of management
