Rapidly expanding multi-discipline Environmental company who delivers the full range of Asbestos Management services, are now looking to recruit an Asbestos QC Report Checker. The ideal candidate will work well under pressure and be able to manage their time effectively, receiving a large volume of reports for key commercial clients and verifying for technical accuracy. The role is flexible to suit the needs of the candidate and would suit an experienced Report Verifier looking to get involved in more complex survey projects or gain further site experience, or a qualified surveyor looking to come away from travel and secure a better work life balance.
Consideration will be given to candidates from: Romford, Hornchurch, Upminster, Billericay, Dagenham, Rainham, Erith, Ilford, Dartford, Grays, Tilbury, Stanford-le-Hope, Gravesend, Bexleyheath, Sidcup, Orpington, Bromley, Sevenoaks, Basildon, Wickford, South Benfleet, Rayleigh.

Experience & Qualifications

• Holding the BOHS P402 would be beneficial to the role.
• Will have experience working in a quality checking role, ideally within the Asbestos industry.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Will be IT literate and familiar with industry relevant systems.
• Excellent communication skills (email / telephone / in person)

The Role

• Receiving management, refurbishment and demolition survey reports ranging in size and complexity for Government, Retail and Education clients.
• Utilising the P402 or previous QC experience, checking reports for technical accuracy.
• Accurately entering data to internal systems and updating client portals.
• Liaising with Surveyors to query any mistakes and rectifying promptly.
• Carrying out a final check on the report and verifying for technical accuracy before submitting to clients.
• Working to agreed SLA’s and meeting client expectations for quality.
• Attending site in line with client / company requirements.
