Due to present state and business requirement, this top player within the asbestos market currently requires the services of an enthusiastic, self-motivated and astute Asbestos Project Manager in the South East and will include applications from Surrey, Hampshire, Kent and the surrounding areas.

Purpose of the Role

Covering work for high profile clients across the South East of England.

Qualifications & Experience

• The applicant must hold the P402/P403/P404 or the S301/CCP qualifications and having the Health & Safety qualification or experience would be beneficial.
• Must come from a good management, auditing, technical, consultancy, office, UKAS accredited, and project management background.
• Must have good communication, people management, client facing and IT skills.
• Must have significant experience in providing consultancy services to clients as and when required.
• Must have hands on experience in asbestos surveying and air-monitoring.
• Must have experience with producing specifications, tenders and procedures, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the business and ensuring that it runs smoothly.
• Supervising Site Analysts and Surveyors carrying out work on various projects.
• Managing junior staff.
• Writing and reviewing technical reports and specifications.
• Liaising with existing and new clients – building a good rapport.
• Carrying out tendering process including writing tender specification, taking contractors to site and evaluating tenders submitted.
• Getting involved with quality control and reporting – ensuring that staff appointed is technically competent.
• Planning abatement and survey work in accordance with current legislation and procedures.
• Conducting Asbestos Survey and Site Analytical work.
