Job Title: Asbestos Project Manager
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.

Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Project Manager through to Lead Asbestos Project Manager

Profile: A UKAS accredited, multi-discipline Environmental Consultancy who work across the UK on Commercial, Domestic, and Industrial sites. They are now seeking to employ an organised and diligent Asbestos Project Manager to run projects across the West Midlands area. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of providing clients with high standards of services, carrying out site audits, providing site specific RAMS, providing support to technical and quality managers and ensuring all work is being carried out in line with industry relevant Health and Safety Legislations. For the successful candidate our client can offer structured training within the company, private healthcare, generous pension contributions and attractive holiday allowances.

Experience & Qualifications

• Ideally will hold the P402, P403, P404 (or RSPH) or CoCA qualification.
• Will have extensive experience working within the Asbestos industry and will have strong technical and management experience.
• Will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Extensive knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation in relation to Asbestos.
• Proficient in using TEAMS / TRACKER / PDA systems.

The Role

• Managing a range of clients on a national scale, maintaining contracts and developing and building new relationships.
• Preparing and producing quotations for Asbestos services and Consultancy work.
• Liaising with other departments efficiently.
• Developing an understanding for various sites, alongside securing more business.
• Acting as the first point of contact for clients, dealing with any issues efficiently.
• Providing candidates with support in training and technical queries.
• Gathering all information to produce detailed reports for clients and giving technical advice and support when needed.
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant Health and Safety Legislations.
• Creating and providing site specific RAMS.
• Undertaking site audits and making sure to report any analytical findings.
