Job Title: Asbestos Office Manager

Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

Salary / Benefits: £19k – £27k +Training +Benefits

Level of Experience: Trainee Asbestos Office Manager through to Lead Asbestos Office Manager

Profile: A leading and UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy, who hold a strong presence across London and the South East, working on Local Authority, Construction and Social Housing sites. They are now seeking to recruit an organised and business minded Asbestos Office Manager based in and around the Southend-on-Sea area. The successful candidate will have a strong administrative / managerial background and will be confident in overseeing a team of administrators, ensuring smooth running day to day in the office as well as co-ordinating projects and allocating work to site staff.

Applications will be considered from: Rayleigh, Rochford, Canvey Island, Grays, Brentwood, Billericay, Wickford, Basildon.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Will have experience working for an Asbestos Consultancy, ideally as a Lead Coordinator or Manager.
  • Will ideally hold the P402; allowing for technical report reviewing.
  • Will have strong communication, leadership, and managerial skills.
  • Competent in using Microsoft / internal databases.
  • Able to prioritise work efficiently, ensuring smooth running of the office day -to-day.
Responsibilities
  • Coordinating smooth running of Surveying projects, ensuring good service delivery.
  • Overseeing report production, ensuring technical accuracy and client receipt.
  • Overseeing and managing a team of administrators.
  • Ensuring the office runs smoothly and efficiently day to day.
  • Aiding clients / colleagues in relation to technical and general enquiries.
  • Ensuring that all administrative tasks are carried out in line with company procedures.
  • Ensuring targets and KPIs are being met.
