Job Title: Asbestos Deputy Technical Manager.
Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
Salary / Benefits £25k – £45k + Benefits

We have an opportunity for an Asbestos Deputy Technical Manager to join a leading Asbestos Constancy based in the Essex area. This role would suit an experienced surveyor, with a sound knowledge of HSG 264 and asbestos surveying, who is looking to take a step back from site work and progress into a technical management role. You will be overseeing a team of office staff, alongside using your technical knowledge and site experience to carry out lab and site audits, to ensure work is carried out to UKAS standard. Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience working on site as an asbestos surveyor for an established UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy.
• Hold the BOHS P402, S301 or RSPH equivalent.
• Excellent IT skills, able to use TEAMS/ TRACKER systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to organise workload in line with company / client needs.

The Role:

• Efficiently managing a team of office staff.
• Visiting sites/laboratory and conducting audits.
• Carrying out internal and external audits.
• Attending client meetings when required, professionally representing the company.
• Producing competitive tenders and quotes.
• Providing support to the company’s technical managers.
• Assisting with UKAS audits.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant Health and Safety legislation.
• Ensuring that internal systems are up to date and accurate.
