A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Asbestos Contracts Manager for a permanent position in Kent. This role involves managing asbestos project work and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The salary range is £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a generous benefits package and training opportunities.
Our privately owned client is a reputable name within the enabling works industry, priding itself on its excellent reputation for delivering projects within budget and to programme, while always maintaining high standards and quality. They are a professional, technically minded and modern contractor who have proven success of operating primarily as principal contractor on their projects throughout the South East. Having been established for over 30 years, much of their work is secured through repeat business. Their specialism covers demolition, asbestos removal, remediation, and rail.
Due to successful expansion, my client is currently recruiting permanently for an experienced Asbestos Contracts Manager to join the team in Kent.
As an Asbestos Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing overall asbestos project work throughout the M25 corridor, ensuring works are priced and carried out in accordance with legislative aspects of the business, including health, safety and environmental issues. You will successfully complete documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, tenders, appraisals and ASB5 notifications and close out reports and develop current/future client relationships.
For this permanent opportunity, my client is targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere from £60,000 - £70,000 per annum; however, there may be flexibility on this as the specific salary will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered, and lastly, you'll be put through relevant training and progression plans will be put in place so you have a streamlined development plan for the future.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a proven track record of working in this senior position, whilst employed by an asbestos contractor in the UK. Additionally, you must hold a full UK driving license, and as this is a permanent opportunity, my client is looking for a professional who can demonstrate stability of employment throughout their career, holding each previous post for a minimum of 2 years.
