Profile

A UKAS accredited and privately owned Asbestos Consultancy who provide the full range of asbestos services to various Healthcare, Educational and Industrial clients are now seeking to recruit an ambitious and efficient Asbestos Consultant based in and around the Nottingham area. The successful candidate will ideally hold the P402, P403, P404 (RSPH equivalent) qualifications and have experience carrying out the full range of surveying and analytical duties, and building excellent rapport with clients giving specialist advice. Consideration will also be given to those with the P402 / Surveying experience, who are looking to gain further P Certs. In return, the company can offer a company car / car allowance and the opportunity to work on large scale industrial sites. For the right individual the company can also offer the chance to grow long‑term with the company and progress into a project management position.

Experience & Qualifications

• Experience in an established Asbestos Consultancy.
• Must hold a minimum of the P402 and will ideally also hold the P403, P404 (RSPH Equivalent) qualifications.
• Excellent knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills and confident in using PDA / TEAMS / TRACKER systems.

The Role

• Management, Demolition and Refurbishment surveys on long‑term industrial sites.
• Undertaking a range of air monitoring duties including four stage clearance, smoke, background, leak, re‑occupation and personal air testing and visual inspections on a mixed portfolio of sites.
• Carrying out work on both short‑ and long‑term removal projects, supervising LARC’s on site.
• Providing clients with re‑occupation certificates.
• Attending client meetings in line with company and client needs, delivering detailed consultancy advice.
• Using PDA / TEAMS / TRACKER to produce bespoke site‑specific reports.
• Updating relevant registers and providing site‑specific advice on remediation/removal.
• Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety Legislations.
