Job summary

A leading community-oriented retail organization in Manchester is seeking an Asbestos Compliance Coordinator to manage compliance with asbestos regulations and oversee licensed contractors effectively. You will ensure the safety of workplaces across the business while fostering strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders. Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of compliance management.
  • A good understanding of the food retail industry.
  • Strong compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Oversee a significant budget and monitor spend for day-to-day reactive works.
  • Coordinate licensed asbestos removal contractors and monitor programme delivery.

Skills

Experience working with licensed asbestos removal contractors
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs
Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
Calmness under pressure

Education

BOHS P405 qualification (or willingness to work towards this)
