Renowned and established UKAS accredited Asbestos consultancy are now looking to recruit an Asbestos Administrator to join their friendly and busy office within the Glasgow area. You will be responsible for logging all incoming jobs, ensuring they are correctly entered onto the company’s internal system, as well as arranging accommodation for staff working and finalising reports prior to sending to clients. Our client can offer generous pension / holiday allowance and the flexibility to work from home.

Consideration will be given to candidates from: Coatbridge, Cumbernauld, East Kilbride, Paisley, Clydebank, Dumbarton, Wishaw, Lanark, Falkirk, Livingstone, Linlithgow.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience undertaking various administrative duties within a reputable Asbestos Consultancy.
  • Excellent IT skills and able to use TEAMS to book in work.
  • Professional and efficient communication skills via phone, email, & face to face.
  • Adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Efficient time management skills, able to organise workload in line with company needs.

  • Familiarity with p401/p402/p403/p404/p404 or s301 CCP (preferred).
The Role
  • Logging all incoming jobs onto the company’s internal systems.
  • Assigning asbestos staff to various surveying / analytical projects across Commercial, Industrial, and Domestic sites, ensuring to arrange accommodation for staff staying away.
  • Providing day‑to‑day support to management / site staff.
  • reports with information provided by site staff, prior to submitting to clients.
  • Liaising with clients in a professional manner, dealing with any queries.
  • Ensuring the office runs efficiently.
  • Undertaking effective control of company documents.
  • Carrying out general administrative duties e.g., filing and scanning documents, sending emails, answering / making phone calls.
