Job summary

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are seeking a bank of experienced arts tutors to deliver classes in dance, drama, guitar, keyboard, drums, ceramics, drawing, textiles, singing and more across South Lanarkshire.

Tutors will contribute to a programme of progressive classes, workshops and events, with sessions running daytime, evenings and weekends at various venues. Travel between locations is desirable to reach different community groups.

Qualifications

• Holds an appropriate qualification or can demonstrate relevant experience within the discipline
• Ability to deliver engaging, structured sessions for children and adults
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexible and able to work across different locations
• Passionate about inspiring learners and developing confidence

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of its programme of progressive classes and courses
• Deliver one-off workshops and events as required
• Work across daytime, evenings and weekends at various venues across South Lanarkshire
