A leading private art education service in Reigate is seeking an Art Tutor Assistant for a part-time apprenticeship. The role involves supporting creative art programs, maintaining the studio, and mentoring students. Candidates should be passionate about art and education, possess Level 2 qualifications in Maths & English, and have practical artistic skills. Training in art-K's methods will be provided, making it an ideal opportunity for aspiring educators.
This role is offered as part of a Level 4 Learning & Skills Mentor Apprenticeship, delivered in partnership with Impact Futures. An apprenticeship lets you learn while you work, helping you gain a nationally recognised qualification. You’ll spend time both in the studio, getting hands‑on experience, and learning the skills you need. Each week, you’ll have set time just for training and study, so you can complete your qualification successfully.
The Level 4 qualification is the same level as a Diploma or HNC/first year of a BSC, giving you a solid foundation to start a career in art education, coaching, mentoring, or other creative roles.
art-K is the UK’s largest private art education service, delivering fun, skill‑based classes to over 7,500 children each week. Our programmes help develop artistic skills, build confidence, and support mental well‑being through inspiring projects taught by passionate educators.
At our art-K Reigate branch, the Art Tutor Assistant (Apprenticeship Level 4) will support the delivery of our creative art programme, help maintain the studio, and learn to guide and mentor students as they explore their creativity. You’ll receive full training in art‑K’s teaching methods and ongoing support from your studio team and Impact Futures throughout your apprenticeship.

At art‑K, we believe in continuous growth through constructive feedback.
