KM Recruitment is seeking an Art Tutor—trainee or qualified—for a centre-based role. You will deliver art training to groups, work towards or hold a Level 3 teaching qualification, and support learners to progress. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £30,000 to £35,000 depending on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering training, teaching or workshops to groups of learners.
• Art qualification (A Level or above).
• Willingness to work towards Level 3 Teaching qualification (PTLLS/AET or equivalent).
• Demonstrable energy and passion to motivate and train clients.
• Ability to overcome challenges and support learners to progress.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Teach/assess learners working towards a vocational qualification in Art Skills in a classroom-based environment.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills, knowledge and behaviours.
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
• Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners' needs.

Essential Criteria:
