A leading educational institution in Amersham seeks a part-time Art Technician to support the Art Department. This role involves providing practical assistance, maintaining resources, and handling administrative tasks. This role is for 20 hours per week, term time - the exact days/times of working can be discussed, although our preference is for them to be worked across the full week. Please note that we are also advertising for a Curriculum Support Technician (17.5 hours fixed term contract) and we are open to applications from candidates wishing to do both roles.

The successful candidate will primarily provide practical and technical support to the Art Department teaching staff, ensuring a safe, organised, and effective learning environment for students.
They will be key in the preparation and maintenance of resources, materials, and equipment across all art disciplines taught at the school.
They will also provide administrative support to the department.
Good administrative and IT skills are necessary, with experience working in an administrative role.
Practical knowledge of a range of art techniques, and an understanding of relevant health and safety practices, would be desirable but not essential.
