Job summary

Step Teachers is seeking an Art Technician to support secondary art departments in Tottenham and surrounding areas. Flexible short-term and long-term opportunities start immediately, with weekly PAYE payments.

You will prepare materials, manage resources, assist with practical activities, and help display student work while maintaining health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience working within an Art Department or practical arts environment.
• Strong understanding of materials, tools, and equipment used in secondary Art.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work safely and support health and safety procedures.
• Creative, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and development.

Responsibilities
