Art Technician

Required from December 2025 or earlier

Salary: Scale 3 Points 5 – 6 (£31,530 – £32,442 per annum, pro rata)

Actual salary payable £26,352.15 - £26,728.54 per annum

35 hours per week, term time only + 1 week (40 weeks)

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing outstanding Art provision in this vibrant and happy school. We are seeking an experienced Art Technician to support our Art teachers and students at key stages 3 and 4. You will be passionate about Art and education and committed to securing excellent outcomes for children of all abilities. You will join a dynamic team of teaching and associate staff, all determined to ensure that the school maintains its reputation for excellence.

The primary role will be to prepare Art practical lessons and resources and provide technical support to enhance the delivery of the curriculum by the Art department. Additionally, 25% of your time will be spent in co-ordinating with Senior Leadership Team and being responsible for the displays around the school. You will also be expected to involve yourself fully in the extra-curricular activities of the department.

  • Provide technical support to enhance delivery of the Art curriculum (Key Stages 3 and 4)
  • Coordinate with the Senior Leadership Team (25% of duties)
