A respected education agency in Wakefield seeks an experienced Art teacher to join a well-established secondary school. The role starts immediately and runs until the end of the academic year, with a possibility of a direct contract from September 2026. Applicants should have Qualified Teacher Status and relevant qualifications in Art.

Qualifications

  • Plan and deliver lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Track student progression and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with Art department to develop curriculum.
  • Create a positive classroom environment.

Are you an experienced Art teacher looking to take your career to the next level? A fantastic Art teacher vacancy has come up at one of our well established secondary schools in the centre of Wakefield. This Art teacher role will be starting in immediately and will run until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of a direct contract from September 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering lessons to students across KS3 and KS4
  • Track student progression and provide constructive feedback to help them develop their artistic skills.
  • Share ideas with other members in the Art department in order to develop the curriculum.
  • Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
