Role: Art Teacher

Start Date: November start – until December

Pay Rate: 150 to 220 per day dependant on experience

Location: Gorton, Manchester

Contract Type: Full-time, long-term cover

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Gorton for a long-term role running from November through to December.

As the Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to express themselves through a range of artistic mediums and techniques. You will be joining a supportive department that values creativity, inclusion, and high standards of teaching and learning.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Plan, assess, and differentiate instruction to meet student needs.

  • Promote creativity, inclusion, and high standards of teaching and learning within the department.

Qualifications
  • Be a qualified Art Teacher with QTS or equivalent.

  • Experience teaching Art at secondary level (KS3 and KS4).

  • Bring creativity and enthusiasm to lesson delivery.

  • Be reliable, adaptable, and confident managing classroom behaviour.

  • Hold a valid enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
