Art Teacher (Temporary)

We are seeking a qualified Art Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis, starting from the October half term. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for teaching and a strong background in Art and Photography, specifically with experience in delivering A levelPhotography and GCSEArt.

Day-to-day of the role
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in Art and Photography.
  • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
  • Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback.
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and disciplinary systems.
  • Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
  • Participate in departmental and school meetings, parent meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience teaching Art at GCSE level and Photography at A Level.
  • Strong knowledge of the current curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
