TeacherActive is recruiting an enthusiastic Art and Design Teacher for a secondary school in Bury. The role is full-time and long-term starting in September, teaching across KS3 and KS4 with engaging lessons and clear expectations.

You should have QTS with an Art and Design specialism, experience across KS3/KS4, strong knowledge of the curriculum, excellent classroom management, and good communication and organisational skills.

Job Title: Art and Design Teacher
Location: Bury
Start Date: September
Salary: £170 - £250 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school based in Bury, who are looking to appoint an Art and Design Teacher. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher who can engage students and contribute positively to the Art and Design department.

The school is looking to take on an Art and Design Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis starting in September. The successful Art and Design Teacher will teach across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, planning and delivering engaging lessons while maintaining high expectations of behaviour and student progress.

The successful Art and Design Teacher will have:

• QTS with an Art and Design specialism

• Experience teaching Art and Design across KS3 and KS4

• Strong knowledge of the Art and Design curriculum

• Excellent classroom management

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
