We are looking for a creative, passionate Art & Design Teacher to join our team in October 2025. You will teach across KS3 and KS4, delivering high quality lessons that inspire and challenge all students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Art & Design lessons to KS3 & KS4 pupils, meeting curriculum standards.
  • Assess, monitor, and give feedback on students’ work, supporting progress and development.
  • Develop and maintain creative, safe and stimulating learning environments.
  • Collaborate with the department and school to contribute to curriculum design and improvement.
  • Support students’ artistic growth, including in drawing, design, mixed media, and other art disciplines.
  • Participate in professional development and school events.
Person Specification / Requirements

You will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong subject knowledge in Art & Design.
  • Experience of teaching (or training to teach) KS3 & KS4. ECTs are welcome to apply.
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and the ability to engage and motivate pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
