An educational organization based in the UK seeks a passionate and creative Art and Design Saturday Club Tutor. You'll deliver engaging sessions that inspire young people's creativity, manage youth groups, and participate in exciting projects. This casual role offers flexibility, running 3 hours a week over 16 weeks. Candidates should have a strong background in art disciplines and excellent interpersonal skills.
Activate Learning is excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate and creative tutor to join our Learning for Leisure team at Merrist Wood College. You’ll be responsible for delivering the National Saturday Club - Art & Design, a vibrant programme that gives young people across the UK the chance to explore their creativity through hands-on sessions in the Creative Industries.
This role begins in December 2025, taking over from the current tutor. You’ll lead the group through a variety of practical projects and support their creative development, inspiring and engaging young people in the world of art and design. The role also includes accompanying the group on a trip to London for the end-of-year show at Somerset House, as well as participating in exciting masterclasses and collaborative projects throughout the year.
This is a casual post, with the club running for 3 hours per week (10am - 1pm) over 16 weeks. Additional opportunities to deliver further courses within our Learning for Leisure programme may also be available.
You’ll also be a positive role model, demonstrating the values and behaviours we aim to nurture in our learners.
