Job summary

art-K Croxley Green is seeking a friendly and practical Art Assistant to join our children’s art club in Hertfordshire. You’ll mix paints, prepare materials, encourage young learners, and help them develop core artistic skills during after-school sessions. Training will be provided.

The role is ad hoc with potential for regular sessions; salary is paid per hour (£8.79–£13.64). A GCSE in Art and knowledge of tone and perspective are required, with a positive, proactive attitude and a willingness

Qualifications

• Art GCSE at 7-9 grade.
• Knowledgeable of artistic techniques, including tone and perspective.
• Experience working with children is preferable.
• Desirable: Working towards art A level, Foundation or Art degree.
