Join Our Exciting Mental Health Team in Kent

These new positions are innovative and will provide vital mental health support to Primary Care Networks (PCNs) in Kent. PCNs are groups of GP practices working together in local areas.

We have numerous posts available across Kent's PCNs.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Mental Health Practitioners, including nurses, social workers, and occupational therapists, to work in PCNs under the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS).

This is an exciting time as we begin transforming community Mental Health services. These roles are foundational to upcoming developments. Practitioners will work primarily within PCNs as part of integrated teams in GP surgeries.

Responsibilities
  • Embed as part of the PCN Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).
  • Collaborate with other roles and maintain close links with community mental health MDT.
  • Access secondary mental health services and act as a bridge between primary and secondary care by providing high-quality mental health care in primary care settings.
  • Work autonomously and creatively in a busy environment.
  • Conduct assessments and utilize knowledge of local resources.
  • Manage referrals to secondary care services.
