Job summary

Grove House Surgery in West Yorkshire is seeking an enthusiastic GP to join our supportive team for 6 sessions per week on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with potential for longer-term opportunities. We serve a diverse population of around 9,500 patients and value long-term patient relationships.

You will work within a friendly multidisciplinary team delivering holistic, patient-centred care, with opportunities to contribute to service development and governance.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified GP and registered with the GMC.
• Experience of working in General Practice.
• Familiar with SystmOne (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic primary care through assessment and management of acute and long-term conditions.
• Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and home visit consultations as required.
• Prescribe and review medications in line with national and local guidance.
• Promote health, wellbeing and preventative care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to clinical governance and quality improvement activities.
• Support the development of practice services and participate in practice meetings.

Main duties of the job

As a GP at Grove House Surgery & Chickenley Medical Centre, you will join a friendly and experienced team delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to our diverse practice population. Key responsibilities include:
