We are now looking for a motivated and approachable Customer Service Advisor to be the frontline point of contact for our Armed Forces Community. You will be at the centre of the Hub's daily activity, greeting visitors, listening to their needs and connecting them to the right support and services. Every day will be different; you might be helping a veteran find housing advice, signposting a family to wellbeing support or helping someone get online. Whatever, the situation you will offer a calm, compassionate and professional response that reflects our council's commitment to supporting those who do and have served and their families. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, has good communication and problem solving skills. Experience in customer service, community work or supporting vulnerable people along with an understanding of the Armed Forces community would be an advantage but what matters most is empathy and commitment to excellent customer service.
