Job summary

Major Forces is recruiting HGV Class 1 and Class 2 drivers for a specialist Car Transporter Driver pathway across multiple UK locations. The programme includes four weeks of intensive training and offers opportunities for serving personnel, service leavers and veterans.

Successful candidates will learn to load, secure, transport and unload vehicles using specialist car transporters, with roles open to personnel transitioning from military driving backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Serving personnel or veterans with HGV entitlement are welcome to apply.
• No prior car transporter experience required.
• Four weeks of intensive training provided.
• Willingness to work away from home.
• Licences required: HGV Class 1 or 2, Driver CPC (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Drive a specialist car transporter and transport vehicles.
• Carry out loading/unloading and securing of vehicles.
• Perform safety checks on the transporter and vehicles.
• Complete collections and deliveries across the UK.
• Maintain high safety and professional standards.
• Work independently and manage workload.
