Job summary

Staffline is seeking a Van Driver based in Bristol to perform home deliveries for Argos. This role emphasises customer service and involves a relatively low number of deliveries, not just parcels. Immediate starts are available with shifts planned two weeks in advance, five days out of seven, including a weekend day.

The PAYE rate is £14.23 per hour and paid weekly. Inductions and training are provided, with opportunities for part-time weekend work and long-term assignments for those seeking

Qualifications

• A full UK manual driving license held for at least 12 months.
• No more than 6 penalty points on license.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Presentable appearance with a track record of great customer service.
• Experience with multi-drop driving is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load your own van with assistance from the warehouse team so you know where everything is.
• Deliver up to 25 drops per shift within a set area using available guidance.
• Be the face of the final delivery mile and ensure the customer receives their purchase at their door.

Job description

Staffline is currently seeking Van Drivers based in Bristol for home deliveries on behalf of our client, Argos.

Van and fuel provided!

This role places a strong emphasis on customer service and involves a relatively low number of deliveries.

Immediate starts are available and shifts are planned two weeks in advance. Working 5 days out of 7. One of those days must incorporate either a Saturday or Sunday or both.

PAYE rate for the role is £14.23 per hour paid weekly.

Opportunities to work additional shifts. Part time weekend drivers are welcome to apply.

Paid inductions and training, real temp - perm opportunities for those wanting to work direct for our clients.

It is a legal requirement that candidates must be at least 18 years or over and have held a full manual driving license for at least 12 months (with no more than 6 points on your license). We'll ask you to complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview.

Your Time at Work

As a van driver, you'll join a new team to assist the client strive for greater heights for their customers. From the local fulfilment centre, you'll be part of a team that aims to give customers more choice with same day delivery, putting the customer at the heart of their Fast-Track network.

This role is not about the numbers of parcels it's the quality of service you give when delivering your time allocated delivery.

As a Van Driver, you'll be:

• Loading your own van with the help of the warehouse team, so you'll know where everything is.
• Deliver up to 25 drops per shift in a set area, using the technology to guide and help you on your drops.
• You'll be the face of the final delivery mile, demonstrating care of the customers purchase right to their door.
