Job summary

IVC Evidensia UK is seeking an Area Veterinary Nurse to join our growing network across South East London. You’ll provide high-quality clinical nursing across multiple practices and support teams in busy periods. This is a full-time 40-hour per week role (4 or 5 days) with occasional weekend cover.

A £375 monthly car allowance helps travel between sites. You must be RCVS-registered with practical clinical experience, excellent communication, and a proactive, flexible approach to working across

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice with nursing and patient care.
• Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and workload management.
• Proactive learning mindset with flexibility across practices.
• Initiative for continual improvement and cross-practice collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Admit and discharge patients and deliver high-quality nursing care.
• Run nurse clinics and provide preventative healthcare advice.
• Assist surgeons with anesthesia, procedures, diagnostics and inpatient care.
• Maintain patient records and support reception duties when needed.
• Ensure SOPs, safety regulations and infection control are followed.
