About The Role

The Role – We are looking to recruit for an Area Supervisor – the role is Overseeing operations throughout Scotland (Glasgow and Edinburgh).

Van and Laptop / Phone will be provided.

What we are paying: £14.00

The hours you shall be working will be: Please note the days for this position will mainly be Monday - Friday (8 hours per day with a 60 minute unpaid break). The candidate will need to be flexible in terms of their availability as hours can vary dependent upon business needs. Please also note the successful candidate will be required to work occasional weekends.

We are looking for a passionate, people‑focused Area Supervisor to lead, inspire and support our onsite teams across multiple client locations. This role is key to ensuring high standards of service delivery, strong team performance, and exceptional client satisfaction.

Working closely with the Regional Manager, you will help shape change, improve service quality, develop supervisors and cleaning teams, and ensure our members and clients consistently receive a “wow” experience. People & Team Management
  • Managing and supporting supervisors across your assigned sites, ensuring they understand expectations and have the tools and resources they need.
  • Recruiting, inducting, and training staff, ensuring compliance with company vetting procedures.
  • Creating rotas, managing holidays, supporting onboarding and overseeing labour planning.
  • Ensuring all team members follow site rules and maintain a smart, professional appearance.
  • Delivering staff training using company‑approved methods and maintaining accurate training matrices.
Operations & Compliance
  • Overseeing area administration including scheduling, audits, reporting and general operational organisation.
  • Completing weekly and monthly audits, analysing results, and developing action plans to drive improvements.
  • Ensuring all compliance and Health & Safety requirements are understood, up to date, and consistently followed.
  • Supporting HR processes where required, escalating issues appropriately.
Client Service & Quality
  • Monitoring client and member satisfaction and regularly attending client meetings to review performance.
  • Handling complaints, feedback logs and service reports, identifying trends and implementing solutions.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance service delivery and improve the customer experience.
  • Ensuring contract standards are met and staffing levels remain appropriate for each site.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft systems and the ability to learn internal software quickly.
  • Awareness of budget controls and labour planning.
  • A strong team ethic, flexibility and a willingness to “get stuck in”.
  • Health & Safety awareness and basic HR knowledge.
  • A professional, confident and approachable manner.
  • We do require all our employees have a basic level of written and spoken English.
  • You must have the right to work in the UK and be able to bring that information to the interview.
