Area Sales Manager

Area - South East

Flex-R is a leading supplier of premium flat roofing systems, serving both specialist roofing contractors and merchants across the UK.

We’re looking for a driven Area Sales Manager who will be focused on selling our premium roofing systems direct to specialist contractors, building long-term partnerships and driving sustainable growth across the region.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in sales, has strong technical knowledge of roofing, and enjoys being at the sharp end of building relationships and winning new business.

What you’ll be doing
  • Drive direct-to-contractor sales, with a focus on our premium product range
  • Generate new business through proactive cold calling, networking and specification opportunities
  • Carry out accurate take-offs, quotes and pricing for contractor projects
  • Deliver engaging presentations to contractors and clients
  • Recruit and onboard a minimum number of contractors per quarter
  • Manage and develop existing contractors, supporting their progression through partnership tiers
  • Report sales pipeline, targets and forecasts to senior management
  • Work collaboratively with the wider sales and technical teams to maximise opportunities
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in direct-to-contractor sales (roofing preferred)
  • Strong technical knowledge of flat roofing systems and installation methods
  • Confidence with take-offs, pricing and quotations
  • Self-starter with excellent organisation and diary management skills
  • Comfortable with cold calling and business development
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
