Role: Area Sales Manager

Location: Scotland

Pay rate/Salary: Base Salary £45k to £50k + Bonus Available

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday

Type: Permanent - Office/Field based

Start Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)

My client is seeking an ambitious Area Sales Manager to join their growing sales team, covering the Scotland region (covering TD, DG, KA, ML, EH, G, PA postcodes).

This field-based role involves developing new business with Specifiers, Designers, Wholesalers, Contractors, and End Users, while nurturing existing customer relationships to deliver tailored lighting solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new business with Specifiers, Designers, Wholesalers, Contractors, and End Users.
  • Nurture existing customer relationships to deliver tailored lighting solutions.
  • Own and drive sales targets with passion.
  • Manage projects from enquiry through to completion.
  • Present well and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Embrace technology and modern sales tools.
Qualifications
  • Experience either through education or work experience in the electrical industry.
  • Highly organised, proactive and a natural communicator.
  • Can manage projects from enquiry through to completion (already included in responsibilities, kept here for emphasis).
  • UK driving licence is essential.
  • Lighting/design/engineering background a bonus but not essential.
