Job summary

KMC Recruitment is representing an established global manufacturer seeking an Area Sales Manager for central England, covering a wide territory from Northampton to Leeds. The role focuses on growing existing accounts, winning new business, and promoting a broad range of power generation equipment.

You will work in a field-based, face-to-face capacity, managing a large geographical area and hitting sales targets. A driving licence and power-generation experience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Developing and growing existing customer accounts across the territory.
• Identifying, targeting and winning new business.
• Promoting a broad portfolio of power generation and associated equipment.
• Building strong relationships across the hire, construction, dealer and industrial markets.
• Taking ownership of regional sales and turnover targets.
• Managing negotiations and commercial proposals.
• Maintaining and developing a strong sales pipeline.
• Forecasting and analysing sales performance.
• Monitoring market activity and competitor developments.
• Maintaining accurate CRM and sales reporting.
