Sharps Furniture Group comprises of the Sharps, Fittingly and Clever Closet brands. Sharps is the market leader and offers a fully bespoke service from start to finish. Fittingly is a challenger brand where the majority of product is supply only with customers choosing to install themselves or work with their preferred tradesperson. Fittingly also has an expanding trade division. Clever Closet offers intelligent storage solutions for awkward spaces, primarily understairs.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) in one of our 5 regions, the Area Sales Manager will be a dynamic, sales focused manager who will support the RSM in leading and inspiring a team of field-based, self-employed sales consultants in our industry leading business to customer fitted furniture businesses. You'll play a key role in developing, managing and motivating performance amongst your team of sales consultants.

These leadership roles demand individuals who can manage cross-functional teams, implement strategic initiatives, and deliver high-quality sales results in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Manages designer headcount, working with the RSM, National Recruitment Manager and Sales Training Manager to onboard and develop the best people.

Skills / experience:
  • Proven experience in a field-based sales management role
  • Background in direct or B2C sales - ideally within furniture, interiors or premium consumer goods

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness for regular travel across a broad territory
