Role Overview
  • Field sales promoting a manufactured range of domestic heating controls and energy saving products
  • Responsible for selling domestic heating controls to screeding and plumbing & heating system integrators (companies providing a design service)
  • Underfloor heating projects sold in bundles – manifolds, pipework, floor screed and HVAC controls
  • Targeting SMEs at the owner/operator decision maker level
  • National role, may require working away from home up to 2 nights per week
  • 80% new business prospecting, 20% developing known non-active customer accounts, targeted to bring in 40 new customer accounts
  • Project sizes range from £5,000‑£50,000, typical sales cycles 6‑12 months
  • First year target to achieve £800,000 pro rata
Ideal Applicant
  • 3+ years HVAC field sales experience
  • Open to a HVAC Engineer looking for first field sales role
  • Comfortable working in a small growing business
  • Consultative sales style / relationship builder
  • Comfortable with national role and overnight stays
  • Understanding of domestic heating and cooling systems
  • Some awareness of renewable energy technologies, particularly heat pumps
  • Familiarity with HVAC controls
