Area Sales Manager – Floor & Wall Tiles

Field sales position selling a large manufactured and distributed premium range of porcelain wall and floor tiles to predominantly independent tile & bathroom retailers in South East England (Essex, Kent, Surrey & Sussex).

Remuneration and Benefits

£40,000 - £45,000 base (neg depending on experience) + 1-2% of all sales.

Mercedes van or company car & full benefits.

Responsibilities

• Majority of your time will be spent selling into independent tile & bathroom retailers and large bathroom & tile showrooms.
• Generate specifications and sell directly to architects, tilers, installers and developers (depends where your expertise lies).
• Turnover target tbc depending on experience.
• Present product portfolio.

Qualifications

• Must have tile or bathroom industry related field sales experience (ideally porcelain/ceramic tile products).
• Experience selling to tile/bathroom showrooms and retailers.
• Must be able to manage your own territory and generate new business.
• Tons of energy and enthusiasm.
• Strong numeracy, sound commercial acumen and ability to negotiate with strong characters within the building trade.
• Go-getter with roll sleeves up mentality.
