Area Sales Manager - Electronics

Salary: £40,000 + £6,000 Car Allowance + Commission (OTE £55K-£65K+) + Bonus + 25 Days Holiday + Pension + Private Medical.

Location: Home-based covering North & Scotland (Commutable from: Leeds, Manchester, York, Sheffield, Bradford, Harrogate)

Are you an engineer with experience in electronic test and measurement systems, looking to take your technical expertise into a customer-facing sales role with excellent autonomy and earning potential?

On offer is a home-based position with a long-established technical solutions provider, giving you the opportunity to develop your career in sales while supporting customers across the North with advanced testing and instrumentation solutions.

This is a respected, expanding company with over 30 years' experience supplying precision electronic equipment to industries including aerospace, R&D, and manufacturing. They're known for developing their people, valuing initiative, and providing clear progression pathways for technically minded professionals moving into sales.

You'll cover the North and Scotland, spending around 60% of your time working remotely and 40% visiting customers. The role focuses on understanding technical challenges, recommending tailored solutions, and building long-term partnerships with engineers, labs, and test departments.
