Overview

Area Sales Manager
Salary: £40,000 + £6,000 Car Allowance + Commission (OTE £55K-£65K+) + Bonus + 25 Days Holiday + Pension + Private Medical.
Location: Home-based covering North & Scotland (Commutable from: Leeds, Manchester, York, Sheffield, Bradford, Harrogate)

Are you a driven Area Sales Manager with experience in electronic or technical sales, looking for more autonomy and strong earning potential?

On offer is a home-based role with a long-established technical solutions provider, giving you the chance to grow sales across the North while managing your own territory and developing key relationships.

This is a well-respected, expanding business with over 30 years\' experience supplying technical equipment to a range of high-tech industries. They value initiative, independence, and long-term progression for their team.

You'll manage customers across the North and Scotland spending around 60% of your time from home and 40% visiting clients. The focus is on building relationships, developing new business, and supporting customers with tailored technical solutions.

This role would suit a motivated Area Sales Manager looking for autonomy, development and the opportunity to increase their earnings within a supportive, growing company.

The Role:
  • Manage and develop accounts across the North of England & Scotland
  • 60% home based, 40% client visits (mix of Teams and on-site meetings)
  • 80% new business development / 20% account management
  • Work with customers across advanced engineering, energy, and R&D sectors
The Person:
  • Experienced in B2B sales of electronic equipment
  • Comfortable with a mix of desk-based and field sales
  • Self-motivated, technically minded, and confident in developing new business
