The Role of the Area Sales and Regional Account Manager
  • Mentor and develop the Technical Sales Representatives throughout Scotland.
  • Ensure sales support provides consistent lead generation and optimised support for the Technical Sales Representatives.
  • Work closely with the Regional Engineer to support projects throughout Scotland.
  • Ensure all inductions into the business are undertaken comprehensively.
  • Collaborate with the Sales Director on recruitment.
  • Accompany and assist Technical Sales Representatives to sites and client meetings when required.
  • Provide feedback to the Sales Director on area performance and Technical Sales Representatives individual performance.
  • Grow a sustainable customer base through strategic account management.
  • Conduct site visits and customer meetings to develop relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Report to the Sales Director.
The Ideal Person for the Area Sales and Regional Account Manager
  • Experience of managing and developing a field sales team within the construction industry.
  • Tentative works knowledge desirable but not essential.
  • Experience selling plant equipment to contractors on site would be extremely beneficial.
  • Experience recruiting and training a sales team.
  • Flexible with regards to travel throughout the Scotland region and attending sales meetings when required.
  • Full driving licence.

Eligible candidates must be able to work and live in the UK.
