Job summary

About Early Years Ltd. is seeking an experienced Early Years Area Manager to oversee 4 settings across the South West and Midlands.

You will provide strong operational, commercial and quality leadership, ensuring high standards of childcare and education while driving regulatory compliance, team performance and growth. You will work with Early Years Managers to deliver excellent outcomes, support Ofsted inspections, manage budgets and KPIs, and lead workforce planning and development across the

Qualifications

• Experience managing multiple Early Years settings or geographically dispersed teams.
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted inspection frameworks and regulatory requirements.
• Level 3 or above full and relevant Early Years qualification.
• Experience managing budgets, P&L and occupancy KPIs.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop managers.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, commercially aware and solutions-focused.
• Clean UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to Early Years Managers.
• Ensure compliance with EYFS, Ofsted, safeguarding and safer recruitment requirements.
• Conduct quality audits and drive continuous improvement.
• Support settings through Ofsted inspections and improvement plans.
• Take responsibility for P&L, budgets, occupancy, fee income and cost management.
• Analyse KPIs and implement action plans to improve operations.
• Lead workforce planning, succession and management development.
• Manage performance and employee relations.
• Support local marketing initiatives to increase registrations.
• Ensure health, safety and compliance across all sites.
