  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience in, or aptitude for people management.
  • Ambition to develop management skills and a quick learner.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.

The role of an Area Manager is an exciting and unique blend whereby you can develop people management and recruitment skills as well as continuing with your professional career in a hands‑on technical role.

The main duties and responsibilities of the role include :
  • Proactive recruitment and interviewing of technical candidates like you and appraising their suitability.
  • Business development with clients including working to a strategic business plan.
  • Assisting Senior Management with Professional Service Frameworks and contracts.
  • Colleague management and support including mentoring, annual colleague progression reviews, planning training and career development.
  • Attending networking events, socials and CPD seminars.
  • Progressing your technical career on a secondment with a public or private sector client.

  • Adept at time management.
  • Preferable – Educated to Degree or HNC level or have equivalent UK experience.
  • Preferable – Membership of a relevant Institution.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential
