Job summary

Motor Fuel Group seeks an Area Manager to support and grow franchise brand operations across the South West, covering Somerset, Taunton and Yeovil. You will drive operational excellence, train teams, and ensure brand standards across multiple sites.

Working closely with Contract Managers and site teams, you will deliver sales targets, manage budgets, and travel extensively to conduct audits, coaching, and improvements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in a high-volume QSR environment.
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and hold a full UK driving licence.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Area Manager to support and grow our franchise business across our network of our 3rd party operated motor fuel sites across the South West of England. Y

Working closely with Managers and teams, you will drive operational excellence, and ensure compliance with standards for brands including Costa, Pret a Manger and Chopstix. You will support the delivery of sales and profitability targets. Acting as the key link between our business and the brands, you will champion training, development, and continuous improvement across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with brand standards.

• Coach and support Contract Managers to drive performance.
• Conduct regular site visits, audits, and compliance reviews.

About You

• Minimum 2 years' management experience within a high-volume QSR environment (Costa, Pret a Manager, Chopstix, Greggs, Burger King, or similar).
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of food safety and compliance requirements.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
