Job description

Croeso Pubs is one of South Wales’ most dynamic Pub Groups. With continued expansion across our portfolio, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Area Manager to join our Senior team.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Directors, this is a varied, hands-on, and highly rewarding leadership role. You will oversee the performance and standards of nine venues, working closely with each site’s General Manager to ensure that every business operates in line with Croeso’s values, vision, and commercial expectations.

You will also work in close partnership with our Head Office Sales and Marketing teams to maximise revenue opportunities, deliver effective campaigns, and maintain a strong brand presence across all sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Driving sales growth across all venues
  • Strategic planning
  • Analysing business performance and identifying opportunities
  • Collaborating closely with Head Office Sales and Marketing departments
  • Recruiting, selecting, and developing management teams
  • Building strong, collaborative relationships with General Managers
  • Ensuring full compliance with licensing, food hygiene, and operational policies
  • Creating and managing your own journey plan to effectively visit all venues, including evenings and weekends
About You:

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • An understanding of business finances and reviewing all opportunities for growth

The role involves oversight of (currently) 9 sites, and you will devise your own journey plan to visit each venue on different days and time throughout the week and at weekends.
