Pilgrim's Area Manager - GB Broilers is responsible for supporting a network of contract growers across Great Britain. You will lead partnerships, drive farm performance, and uphold welfare, biosecurity, and production standards.

You will travel extensively, manage audits and visits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver results and align with our values of Availability, Humility, and Ownership.

Are you passionate about broiler production, building strong relationships, and driving farm performance?

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Area Manager to support and develop a network of contract broiler growing farms across Great Britain. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your industry expertise with your people skills to make a real impact on farm performance, animal welfare, and grower engagement.

About the Role

As an Area Manager, you'll work closely with our contract growers to build trusted partnerships, provide expert support, and drive continuous improvement across the farms within your area.

You'll be a visible and approachable leader, helping growers achieve their goals while ensuring compliance with the highest welfare, biosecurity, and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

Grower Relationships & Engagement

• Build strong, professional relationships with contract growers
• Understand growers' challenges, ambitions, and business needs
• Foster a positive and collaborative partnership approach
• Manage difficult conversations confidently and constructively
• Support growers in achieving outstanding results

Driving Farm Performance

• Monitor flock and farm performance against agreed targets
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement practical solutions
• Develop and support farm improvement plans
• Promote best practice and continuous learning

Welfare, Compliance & Standards

• Ensure farms meet welfare, biosecurity, and company requirements
• Conduct regular farm visits and audits
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Proactively address risks and performance concerns

Teamwork & Collaboration

• Work closely with growers and internal stakeholders
• Encourage knowledge sharing and best practice adoption
• Support cross-functional teamwork to resolve challenges and achieve business objectives

• Full UK Driving Licence
