  • Support audits, compliance checks and accurate shift reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement.

About the Role
We are looking for an Area Manager to oversee daily operations across the Cook Room, Pastry Room and De-box Area. You will ensure smooth shift starts, maintain efficient production flow, and support a team of around 10 colleagues. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, solving problems, and keeping operations running to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day production and ensure lines are ready for each shift
  • Monitor materials, line speeds and production flow
  • Lead, support and develop the team, including approving holidays
  • Ensure quality checks are followed and materials meet specifications
  • Liaise with engineering to report and resolve breakdowns
  • Maintain a safe, clean working environment
  • Support audits, compliance checks and accurate shift reporting
  • Work with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team‑leader role, ideally within food production or manufacturing
